Egyptian Zodiac

Today is my birthday, so I thought I'd do something fun and different. My Egyptian sign is Thoth, and it's surprising how well it fits me, since he's the "God of wisdom, scribes, and writing".

Yeah - it's me.

Isis - but I wasn't able to copy and paste the html into this response.

Honorable, straightforward and idealistic. Active and self-confident.

Hi Sandy,

Yeah, you can only use a few HTML tags in the comments. Bummer.

Isis sounds great, though. She was a major goddess who was worshipped for centuries, even into Roman times if I remember right. :)

Happy birthday, Linda!!

I think Gemini fits me better than "Anubis". Yikes! His role is - God of death and mummification. Scary. However, the traits seemed pretty close - "Clever, fatalist, deep. Sympathetic, generous, loving and perseverant in proving their view point". I identify with all of those... and I do like to prove my view point, even if it hops from one side to the other. Yup. Methinks Gemini fits me best. :-)

Debbie,

LOL, I guess someone had to get Anubis. If you can see both points of an argument, Gemini definitely fits you best.

Frankly, until I found this quiz, I didn't even know there was such a thing as Egyptian astrology. I think someone clever made it all up. :)

Hi Linda-- hope you enjoyed your birthday yesterday. Did you take a day off writing? -Kathleen

Kathleen,

Yes, I thought it appropriate that I'm a scribe. And no, I didn't take my birthday off from writing, though I haven't done much since.

Beth,

Thanks for checking in this week. I know you're out of the area.

You got the same sign as Debbie: Anubis. I think the "Sympathetic, generous, loving" part fits both of you. :D
