What A Difference. . .

. . . a couple of days can make.

Our weather has done a one-eighty from the weekend fog. It's bright and sunny, if a bit hazy over the ocean, (yes, there's an ocean out there) with temps already into the 80's. Who knows how high they'll go? We often get these Santa Ana type conditions in the fall. The only good part is that the humidity is down into the 20 degree range, and at least it'll cool off over night.

A few days of rest seems to have helped my back, too, though I'm still having to take it easy. I got a little cocky yesterday and overdid things and ended up back in bed.

My thanks to everyone who made comments on my last post. Hope you're all having a good week.

Linda

Oh Linda, I hope you're feeling better real soon!

That's the problem with feeling better - we tend to play 'catch-up' and hurt ourselves more. I hope this pain disappears and I hope that fog rolls away. Take care of yourself, Linda, and feel better.

Linda, sorry to hear your back is giving you trouble. Hope you feel better soon, and that will only happen after you rest up and behave yourself. Take care, Kathleen

Oh, yeah, about the weather. I'm glad it's a bit cooler this morning (67) cause I'm putting up Halloween decorations and don't like 90 degree heat when I'm doing it. -K

Ooh, please take care of your back. I'm in a similar boat. All this computing set off some sciatica with me. It's too easy to forget when you feel better.

Thanks for the good wishes. Rhonda, you take care, too.

Debbie, I'm hoping to burn up some calories standing up. ;)

Just looking at those palm trees make me swoon. Hope the back is better soon.

You need to take care of your back, Linda. I empathize with you. Take baby steps when your back stops hurting. That way you're not as likely to re-injure it.

Does a hot water bottle help? It does with mine.

Patti, lol, it must be getting cool in Detroit already. Wish I could ship you some warm weather.

Thanks, Barbara, heat does sometimes help, though ice feels better on the inflamed areas.
