Freelance National Anthem

At the end of the last month I had to send in my self-employment sales taxes for the year. Ah, the joys of being a freelance writer.

Doing so reminded me of the Freelance National Anthem I found late last year, so I thought I'd go ahead and post it. It's all true, except maybe for the writing in the buff part. ;) Enjoy!

Hi Linda,

Thanks for making my day. I just had a disappointing morning because one of my free-lance translation clients cancelled at the last minute. It was so nice to sing-a-long and remember the joys of being free :)

Sorry about the cancellation, Teresa, but glad you enjoyed the anthem. It's very clever.

How funny, Linda! Thank you for this. I've forwarded the link to Hubby and Daughter. I've a feeling they're recognize many of my thoughts in that piece... except for the thrill of writing in the buff. I more than agree with your there... though working in pj's ain't so bad. ;-)

Hey Linda, I enjoyed the link also. Debbie, I write in my pj bottoms more often than I'd like to admit, ha ha.

It's jeans or sweatpants for me, lol. So much for the image of the romance writer in a pink negligee. ;)
